Cost Plus World Market® Kicks off Black Friday Weekend with Free Giveaways and Special In-Store and Online Savings

OAKLAND, Calif.; November 21, 2016—Santa’s checking his list, have you started writing yours? If you need a little help this holiday season, look no further than Cost Plus World Market® beginning with Black Friday on Friday, November 25, 2016. This season, you’ll find stepping into a World Market® store is like walking into a European Christmas Market with traditional imported cookies, candies and cakes, over 1,000 ornaments to choose from, nutcrackers and artisan gifts that are bound to bring back cherished holiday memories or inspire new ones. While the stores are closed on Thanksgiving, Black Friday sales will start online at www.worldmarket.com on Thursday.

Kicking off the holiday season, World Market will open early on Black Friday with a store full of free giveaways and savings. The first 100 customers (age 18 years and older) through the doors on Friday, November 25, 2016 will receive a free reusable tote and a $10 certificate, good for purchases made in store on the same day*. The store will also have breakfast treats and hot coffee set up for customers as they wait in line for the doors to open.

On Saturday, November 26, 2016 and Sunday, November 27, 2016, customers who spend a minimum of $40 in store (gift card and alcohol purchases excluded) will receive two free** movie tickets ($12.50 per ticket, up to $25 total value). While supplies last. Customers will need to retain their receipt and visit www.activaterewards.com/worldmarketmovies/details for submission instructions and full details.** Most stores will open at 7:00 am on Friday and 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday, but customers should check with their local store for special holiday store hours.

Black Friday weekend savings include candle, ornament and wrapping paper BOGOs and savings on pet toys, Christmas Crackers, stocking stuffers, and more online at World Market’s Christmas Shop for more gift giving and decorating ideas. And, World Market Explorer members can earn 3x rewards while shopping Black Friday weekend, which means they’ll receive their rewards quicker to save even more during the gifting season.
