Cost Plus World Market® To Open New World Market Store In Simi Valley, Ca

Grand Opening Celebrations Begin Thursday, November 8, 2012

OAKLAND, Calif.; October 29, 2012—Cost Plus World Market® ( is celebrating the opening of its latest Southern California store location with a weekend of grand opening events beginning on Thursday, November 8, 2012. The new store will be located El Paseo Simi Shopping Center at 2910 Tapo Canyon Road in Simi Valley, California. Throughout the weekend, the store will host raffle drawings, gourmet food and beverage sampling and live entertainment.

To start the celebration, a ribbon cutting with city officials and members of the local chamber of commerce on Thursday, November 8 at 9:00 am officially marks the opening of the store. In addition, the first 200 customers through the doors each day from Thursday, November 8 through Sunday, November 11, 2012 will receive a free reusable World Market tote bag.
