Oakland, Calif. (July 28, 2010) – Cost Plus World Market (www.worldmarket.com) is thrilled to announce the winner of its “Antonio Treatment Sweepstakes” is Debra Casey from Milton, Florida. In May 2010, World Market partnered with HGTV (www.hgtv.com) to provide one lucky customer the opportunity to receive a World Market $10,000 room makeover and personalized design consultation with HGTV celebrity designer Antonio Ballatore.
Debra Casey will shop the World Market Pensacola, Florida store with Antonio Ballatore to buy furniture, decorative accessories, and more for the room makeover. Casey, a fan of HGTV and frequent World Market shopper, was surprised to find that out of thousands of entries, hers was selected, saying, “I can’t believe someone from Milton, Florida won! I’m still picturing the shocked look on the faces of friends and family when I shared the news!” Casey added, “I can’t wait to meet Antonio and have him help design a room in our home.”
While competing on HGTV’s Design Star 4, the judges dubbed him the “Bad Boy of Design” because of his edgy, unconventional, rocker-chic style. Antonio Ballatore started his career in design while pursuing his dream of music stardom. In between music gigs, he learned how to build houses, which led him to design restaurants and clubs in Manhattan and later, design sets for world-famous photographers, including Annie Leibovitz and David LaChapelle.
Antonio’s show, “The Antonio Project”, debuted on HGTV in March of 2010. With his talent of transforming a lackluster space into radically original, yet functional creations he’s proven up to his statement that he’s “bigger, badder, and bolder” than any other Design Star.
