Cost Plus, Inc. Reschedules Release of Third Quarter Results from November 29, 2007 to December 3, 2007

OAKLAND, Calif. – November 27, 2007 — Cost Plus, Inc. (Nasdaq: CPWM) announced today that it has rescheduled the release of its third quarter 2007 earnings and investor conference call. The delay is due to a death in the immediate family of Barry Feld, President and Chief Executive Officer, which would preclude him from participating in the conference call were it to occur as previously announced on November 29, 2007.

The Company will release its third quarter results for fiscal 2007 on Monday, December 3, 2007, after the market close, and will host a conference call for investors at 1:30 p.m. PT that day.
